I created this piece after taking stunning photographs from a kayak whilst exploring the west highland coastline.

The skerries are the numerous little islands with white sandy beaches and a wealth of wildlife to enjoy.

I felt very inspired by the sun breaking through the clouds to try and reproduce the effect of light touching the choppy little waves.

This piece is protected by two coats of artist’s quality varnish and is corded on the back and ready to hang.
