This is a hidden gem of a beach, but not easy to get to. however it is well worth taking the trouble to get to as it really is wild and unspoiled.
Walk the coastal path from Combe Martin and descend the steep cliffs with the help of the rope provided.
i couldn’t take and art equipment here, it was too difficult, so I just took a small sketch book. I took a few photos. enjoyed the sea air, amazing views and wildness then went home and settled down in my studio to try and capture the essence of this amazing place.
The work is painted in Sennelier artist’s acrylics and protected with two coats of artist’s quality varnish. It is painted on a stretched frame canvas and is corded on the back ready to hang.
