This is part of Wenlock Edge, going up towards Ippikins rock. Woodgarlic flowers here just before the Bluebells and usually both can be seen together for a short while. They carpet the woodland floor and add to the beauty of spring. The woodland canopy isn’t heavy at this time in the season and I have tried to capture light pouring in through the trees.
This artwork is painted in Daler-Rowney oils and protected with two coats of artist’s quality varnish. It is corded on the back and ready to hang.
